Definition

A set of related multiplication and division sentences using the same three numbers. The product sits at the apex; the two factors sit at the base.

Examples

  • 3, 4, 12 → 3×4=12, 4×3=12, 12÷3=4, 12÷4=3.
  • 5, 6, 30 → 5×6=30, 6×5=30, 30÷5=6, 30÷6=5.
