  2. Lesson 2 Translations 8.G.A.1 · 2 days I can translate points and figures on the coordinate plane with a rule, find the rule from a point and its image, and explain why the image is congruent to the pre-image.
  3. Lesson 3 Reflections 8.G.A.3 · 2 days I can reflect points and figures over the x-axis and the y-axis with a coordinate rule, name the line of reflection from a point and its image, and explain why the image is congruent but reversed.
  4. Lesson 4 Rotations 8.G.A.3 · 2 days I can rotate points and figures 90°, 180° and 270° about the origin with a coordinate rule, name the angle and direction of a turn from a point and its image, and explain why the image is congruent.
  5. Lesson 5 Sequences of Transformations 8.G.A.2 · 2 days I can do two or three moves in a row on the coordinate plane, each on the image the last move made, and test whether another order gives the same point.
  6. Lesson 6 Congruent Figures 8.G.A.2 · 2 days I can decide whether two figures are congruent by describing a sequence of translations, reflections and rotations that maps one onto the other, and use the equal corresponding sides and angles.
