Perfect Cube

Definition

A number that is the product of an integer used three times as a factor. Its cube root is a whole number.

Examples

  • 27 is a perfect cube because 3×3×3=27.
  • 1, 8, 27, 64, 125 are all perfect cubes.

Key rule

The cube root of a perfect cube is always a whole number.
