Definition
Grouping symbols [ ] used to group expressions, often around parentheses.
Examples
- 2 x [(3 + 4) x 5] = 2 x [7 × 5] = 2 × 35 = 70.
- [10 − (2 + 3)] x 2 = [10 − 5] x 2 = 10.
