Definition
V = length x width x height, or base area x height, for a rectangular prism.
Examples
- V = 5 x 3 x 2 = 30 cubic units.
- V = 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 cubic units.
Key rule
The volume of a rectangular prism equals length times width times height, or base area times height.
Memory hook
Length times width times height, all multiplied together.
